County Commissioners Meet in Annual Session at Wa-Keeney
The Trego county board met in regular annual session at the county clerk’s office with all members present. A. H Hamm was named chairman as the board set to publish proceedings in Western Kansas World and Wa-Keeney Trezonian at half legal rate. The Tregonian was designated official paper. Four banks named equal depositories for county funds. Dr. W Herrick appointed county health officer. Township trustees to act as deputy county assessors. N W Phares re-appointed janitor for courthouse.

Smallpox and scarlet fever cases in area quarantined
