No Permits to Ride Freights As of Jan First
A. G. Kaill, assistant passenger agent for the Union Pacific, says freight train permits will be discontinued after January 1. Passengers will ride only on designated freight trains between stopping points. No main line freights east of Salina will carry passengers, but trains between Salina and Ellis and Polomas, Col., will. If freights run in sections, only the first regular section will carry passengers.
