Mrs W N Larrabee visited Ellis on Sunday and spent the day with Mrs W J Williams and her daughter at Warren's mother's home. The daughter left Sunday for a visit with her brother. Ben Hinshaw reported en route to Camp Funston for discharge and expected to arrive home soon.
A Wa Keeney editorial advocates erecting a Soldiers Memorial Library in the county. It champions a voluntary fund to honor gallant American soldiers, especially Trego County lads, describing the library as a lasting tribute and community tie. It calls for cooperation and ready support when action comes, promising further discussion in the paper.
