Locust Club Banquet Lights Up Hearts and Humor
The Locust Club held its annual husbands’ banquet at the home of Dr. and Mrs. W. Y. Herrick on February 15. Guests enjoyed a five course dinner, humorous stories, and musical performances by Miss Lacey Herrick, Miss Margaret Hardiman, Miss Mildred Puares, Clara Gibson, and Miss Thelma Lyon. A comedy sketch by Mrs. J. C. Cortright and Mrs. C. L. Hardman drew applause. Attendees included Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Blatt, Mr. and Mrs. J. Cortergist, and others among the 20 couples listed.
