Obituary of Dr G A Lacerte A Canadian Physician

Gabriel Aime Lacerte born 1853 in Quebec died December 1 1919 in Denver Colorado at 66 from complications worsened by hardships of practice He studied at Nicolet Seminary Victoria College and earned an MD from Laval University in 1877 He married Malvina Mansean and had six children three living Then married Emma Choquette and had four more children The family moved to Kansas in 1905 where he practiced in Cloud Rooks and Trego counties most recently Collyer He supported the Allies in World War I and contributed to the Collyer Advance Funeral services were held in Collyer with interment there The family thanks friends for support and lists Emma Nestor Charles Glenn Blanche Alvarez Henry and others

Ad Rush Pioneer Citizen Dies in Wa-Keeney Kansas

George Addison Rush born November 7 1858 in Pennsylvania married Alice S Hobbs in Nodaway County Missouri January 1 1881. He moved to Graham County in 1887 built a good home and died after a hospital stay with funeral at the Methodist church Wa-Keeney. He left eight children and many friends. Card of thanks follows. Moving to Hillman insurance honor noted with a Kansas winner earning a Bankers Life gold medal for ten thousand dollars in life insurance during the first ten days of a month. He and wife to travel to California with a Grand Canyon stop en route.
