Bridget Spicer, aged 11 years 3 months and 23 days at arrival in this country, lived in Philadelphia, Chicago, Collyer, Hays, Ellsworth, and finally Ellsworth County before her death. She married William Spicer in Philadelphia on November 5, 1804, and moved west, settling in Ellsworth. Survived by eight children in Kansas, Texas, Missouri, and Colorado, funeral held at St Bernard's Church with services by Father Bradley. All children attended. interment delayed for distant relatives.
