Community mourns James K Richards a popular Wa Keeney land man with Bott's Land Co and later partner Burns. Funeral held at home with Odd Fellows and Rebekah presence. Remains shipped to Humeston with many friends bidding farewell and widow in deep sorrow. Resolutions of Condolence express sympathy and pledge mourning, published in the Western Kansas World.

Death of Hagh Faulkner Died-Hugh Faulkner at 72

Hugh Faulkner aged 72 died August 5 1907 at 4 25 pm of heart disease born in Ca Ireland came to the United States young Civil War veteran lived in Iowa married in Thee then Kansas where his family remains. Survived by a wife sons and two daughters all were at his bedside Catholic rites performed prior to death. He was a kind husband and loving father beloved by all who knew him. R C Wilson visited Collyer Tuesday forenoon.

At the residence of Mr and Mrs Chas Anderson near Ogallah Edna M Anderson and Charles Spitsnaugle were married by Rev W E Scott at 4 pm The bride wore a white silk gown with lace and a Brussels net veil The bridesmaid Capitola Anderson wore lavender lace The groom wore black A wedding supper followed The couple reside south west of Wa Keeney with gifts described as numerous and useful Also a local notice invites baptist church ladies to a store sale with ten percent discount for one day mentions cattle buyers in the area
