Scheble Lumber absorbs Stanway-Gray in Waterville
In Waterville on March 1 the F. M. Scheble Lumber Co. acquired the Stanway-Gray Lumber Co. property and business leaving one yard where two once stood. Stanway joins Scheble as secretary treasurer, Ralph Littlefield moves to Wenatchee, and F. M. Scheble heads the reorganized company with officers named. The Waterville stock is valued at no less than $20,000 and has nearly doubled in the past year.

100 000 Fruit Trees Planned for Moses Coulee Planting
R F Holm of Wenatchee Fruit Land company announced 100000 fruit trees will be planted in Moses Coulee this spring. P L Gilbert of Stark Brothers nurseries received the order yesterday. The mix is half apples and half peaches with Winesaps and Spitzenbergs among the apples. A Yakima man is hired to oversee planting and tending.

Cashmere Commercial Club Sees Growth After Banquet
Cashmere, March 2. The Commercial Club held a post dinner gathering at the Cashmere hotel with banquet, speaking and dancing. The club's contest for members produced three divisions and added 59 new names as Cashmere unites to back town interests. Residents oppose a proposed horticultural bill granting inspector appointment power to a single man. a resolution was sent to Olympia.
