A Warren Littleton Engineering test of John Lebeck’s irrigation plant shows a 12 hp Weber engine and Deming pump delivering 182 gpm and 29 inches over 1100 feet of pipe. It lifts water 150 feet to irrigate 40 acres alfalfa or 60 acres fruit. operating cost averages 30 cents per hour with gasoline at 20 cents per gallon, about 12 dollars per acre annually at 150 ft elevation.
