Big Wheat Crop Prospects in Southside District

Railroad rate cut announced on S F N line
Spokane reports a one cent per mile reduction in passenger rates on the S F N, effective immediately. West of Marcus the rate drops to three cents a mile on routes to Republic Oroville Grand Forks and intermediate points. Spokane to Marcus and Marcus to Nelson also three cents. Only segment four cents remains Marcus to Phoenix B C as the line now extends to Oroville after completion between Midway and Oroville.
