The Wenatchee Valley Fruit Growers Association outlines plans for the season with officers elected P P Holcomb president RW general manager E C Leedy vice president and E T Balch secretary. Contracts seek fruit quantities for peaches apples cherries pears prunes plums cantaloupes and tomatoes and the group will handle only prearranged produce. Compensation for handling and selling includes per box fees on consigned and sold fruit with rates listed and a 40 cent minimum price for peaches discussed by the selling agent. A broad sign-up of growers is expected and the association aims to work with more growers than before.

Squaw Saddle Mining to Sell Stock in Seattle
The Squaw Saddle Mining and Milling company, after disposing of several thousand dollars of local shares, began selling stock in Seattle last Saturday. A Seattle buyer invested $500 in the gypsum deposit touted as the richest in the county. Pat Healey, the president, claimed brick from the deposit can endure high heat and ring like steel when struck, and predicted brick production within a month. He said the venture is the best money making proposition, with 80 acres of surface ore and strong endorsements from experts.

Haul of the Tin Building Moves to New City Site
The Eagle Transfer company plans to shift the tin building used by the fire department to a new city lot on Wenatchee avenue near the courthouse.
