Troops Move From San Francisco to Oakland for Goldfield Action
In San Francisco today soldiers from the Presidio departed for Oakland to board special trains toward Goldfield under Colonel Reynolds. General Funston will stay in San Francisco unless the situation worsens and more troops are sent, at which point he would command in the field. If no delays occur the troops are expected to reach Goldfield tomorrow. In Guthrie Oklahoma a Jim Crow measure passed the House by 95 to 10 with four absent, authorizing separate facilities for whites and blacks.

Seven Hundred Sheep Lost on Entiat Mountain Drive
