Mead's reform stance sparks political backlash

The piece credits Governor Mead with strong reform work and firm actions against graft and lobbying, noting his refusal to hire corrupt officials and his push to curb sheriff graft. It argues his unpopularity comes from taking on entrenched interests, claiming such opposition proves his administration serves the people and should be emulated. The brief ends with an unrelated classified rental ad.
