Frank A. Triplett, once a hostler for the Great Northern at Leavenworth, files a U S circuit court complaint through attorney B O Graham seeking 25000 for the loss of his left hand and wrist. The injury occurred December 3 1909 when he was ordered to connect engine No 1443 to Overland passenger No 2 and a defective coupling allegedly prevented automatic joining. Triplett was injured when the engine backed up onto him.
