Two Drunks Given City Work After Court Appearance
Two transient men Thomas Brown and Ernst Dunning were picked up near the depot for being drunk on the street. Judge Palmer sentenced them to work for the city until dusk starting tomorrow as a remedy for their condition.

A group of young men formed a social and literary club at the Presbyterian manse.
