Wenatchee Gets New First Class Hotel In Groves Block

Arrangements completed for a Chewawa Hotel in Wenatchee to open on Wenatchee avenue with 58 rooms on the upper floor of the Groves block. A. Austin and R. F. Rugan will run it on the European plan, continuing the Chewawa Cafe. The hotel will have two baths, four public baths, radiators, hot and cold water, and a telephone.

Farwell Resigns as County Horticultural Inspector

George H. Farwell resigns as county horticultural inspector in favor of M. J. Wessel of Idaho. Farwell cites inability to secure competent ranch help and supports Wessel as an accomplished horticul tural exhibitor with national reputation. Wenatchee April 3 1907.
