On Saturday last at Methodist Hall Wellington the district property Brookfield of 3322 acres sold after animated bidding from locals and graziers. The final price was 61 pounds 10s per acre. purchaser Mr J McLeish of Quambone. Sale conducted by George Paul and Matrice B Pearce. The Wellington district valued transfer exceeds 762,000 pounds and inquiries follow the sale.
