Cobbora Shire engineer's report action on staff and cadet hire
The Cobbora Shire Council debated promoting Mr Hannon to relieve the engineer and enable planning work. It adopted the move and will seek a cadet engineer, who will train six months in Sydney and six months with the Shire, receiving cadet pay. The council also endorsed the engineer's detailed works program and noted budgeted costs and land arrangements related to roads, culverts, grubbing, and boundary shifts. The meeting included Dr J E Whiteley as chair and attendance by Drs H C Evans G B Smith K D W Masters R H Graham.
