The Basket Ball girls reformed their team with five returning players and aim for a strong season. Plans include a new court and equipment with a benefits game against lady teachers to fund the upgrades.
Seniors met Friday with seventeen in the class and elected Jack Broyles president Rudolph Wood vice president Reda Clay secretary Mayme Walker treasurer. They outlined a plan to raise funds to equip the library and laboratory, noting local student willingness to help and stressing equipment needs amid few university credits. The junior class enrollment was also noted.
