Lucinda Peters Named Teen Miss Amarillo Area 2003
Lucinda Peters was chosen as Teen Miss Amarillo Area 2003 at the Amarillo Civic Center on Sunday September 15. The Wellington High School senior, daughter of Joe and Barbara Peters, will represent the Amarillo area with appearances at parades and events. Peters also won Most Photogenic and will not compete further in Miss Teen Texas.Lee Watts, eight, of Wellington, scored his first hole in one at Wellington Country Club on October 6 2002 on hole 4 a 110 yard par 3 witnessed by his grandmother Mitzi Watts and Nell Bawcom.
