The schedule lists meals for Monday through Friday with varied main courses each day. Monday offers steak fingers with mashed potatoes and cream gravy. Tuesday features beef tips and noodles. Wednesday includes chicken and dressing. Thursday serves BBQ chicken. Friday presents sausage with lima beans. Accompaniments include vegetables, fruit, rolls, oleo, and milk.
We the Wellington Care Center staff welcome new residents Henry Whitaker on the B wing and Lewis Magouirk on C wing. In loving memory of Delia Aguilar and Gladys Cartwright, heartfelt sympathy to their families. Monday featured Rhythm band with Dorothy and Lola Estes. Bingo afternoon with Vida Carver and Wilma Gibbs. Abilene visitor Vida Carver joined sister Wilma. Fifth graders from the Opportunity Center joined for Bingo. Tuesday morning Senior fitness included Polly Cozad and others. Tuesday sing along led by Dana Coleman. Bible study Wednesday afternoon with Fundamental Baptist Church. John Chastain led singing, Sharif Chastain on piano. Continued on page 3.
