Family honors missing Air Force crew with remains to be returned
Janise Rose recalls her father Luther Rose as a devoted airman who died in a 1966 AC-47 Spooky crash in Laos. After decades of investigation, DNA and mitochondrial tests linked remains to the crew, with remains to be released in Hawaii in July and burial planned at Arlington Cemetery, Washington, D.C., as part of a broader Leave No One Behind effort.
