Brisket Dinner Fundraiser Supports Wellington Center Programs
The second annual Brisket Dinner Fundraiser to aid the Wellington Opportunity Center succeeded last Sunday. Summer program starts June 4 with open enrollment that day. New staff include Ryan Brownlee and Mandy Rodriguez. volunteer training is June 9 for field trips and daily activities. Volunteers invited to join.

Buddy poppies will go on sale Friday from 9 am to 5 pm at Thriftway grocery and Dollar General. Veterans assemble poppies for shipment to Posts and Ladies Auxiliaries, aiding veteran welfare and orphans of veterans. Proceeds fund veteran welfare and dependents support, honoring the dead by helping the living.
