May brings sun after wet April and memories of Memorial Day
A breezy column reflects on a soggy April with over 4 inches of rain, forecasts drier May ahead, and concerns about Memorial Day weather. It recalls Lake Texohoma winds, plans for a grade eight luau, and urges community volunteers for the Opportunity Center in Wellington. It also honors Monique and Cami’s regional performances and celebrates the writer’s sister Jennifer born 35 years ago.
