Wellington woman Ruby Goodman obituary in California service
Ruby Goodman of Wellington, lifelong resident of the community, died January 29 2002 in Whittier California at age 90. Funeral services were held February 2 2002 at Guerra Gutierrez Mortuary with burial at Rose Hills Memorial Park. She was born March 10 1911 in Wellington and married Eddie Goodman in 1937 in Colton California. The Goodmans moved to Whittier in 1951 where Eddie worked for Union Pacific Railroad. he died in 1992 after 55 years of marriage. She was a charter member of the Whittier Seventh Day Adventist Church and member of several local groups. Survivors include daughter Dixie Buxbaum and grandsons Charles and James Buxbaum.
