Opportunity Center hosts egg treasure hunt in Wellington
Nine youths from the Opportunity Center took part in an Egg Treasure Hunt led by Saunna Blacksher of the Texas Cooperative Extension Collingsworth County. Participants visited five square businesses collecting clues, with Tawanna Lindsey and Alyssa Johnson winning first place. refreshments were provided by Ruby Williams and Alta Porter.

Sonny Cox ranked third in the 80 beginner class of the 2002 Oklahoma State Championship. He finished 8th in Anadarko January 27, 5th in Lawton February 10, 6th at Dora February 24, and 3rd at Sooner State March 3, trailing leader by 11 points with 6 races left. Jared Warrick competes in the 9-11 mini mini class for Lonestar Racing, 35th of 57, racing Wellston round four on a KTMs 2 stroke and moving up each round.
