Easter Egg Hunt Set This Sunday in Wellington Park
The Wellington Kiwanis Club will host an Easter Egg Hunt at Ellison Park on Sunday March 26 at 3 p.m. The event is open to children ages one through 12 and features four age groups with two special prize eggs per group. Kiwanis officials will supervise the hunt.

Ambulance rates to rise in Collingsworth April 1 1989
The Collingsworth Volunteer Ambulance Service will raise base charges to 60 dollars and mileage to 1.35 dollars per mile outside city limits effective April 1 1989. Health fair poster winners announced at Collingsworth County
Winners announced for the Collingsworth County Health Fair poster contest with Blue Ribbons and silver dollars donated by the Extension Homemakers Council. Wellington first quarter sales tax up 5.61 percent
City of Wellington posted a 5.61 percent rise in first quarter 1989 sales tax compared with 1988, as released March 10 by Comptroller Bob Bullock. March 1989 rose 47 percent from March 1988, with Childress and Donley county towns up about 9 percent and Wheeler county towns up about 17 percent, while Hall county showed a loss.
