Wellington High School Theater Arts Department will present a one act play by Bruce Jacoby in the high school auditorium at 7 p.m. Tickets cost for adults and 1 for students. The show follows the anxieties and struggles a family and friends face as teens cope with life. Wellington Girl Scout Troop 114 will hold a cookie booth sale Monday, March 19, at Thriftway from 4 to 8 p.m. Cookies are three dollars a box with several varieties available.
Two local teens will compete for the Miss Irish Rose crown during the St Patrick’s Day celebration at Shamrock on March 17. The event opens with a March 16 banquet hosted by The Motifs at the Shamrock Area Community Center on Highway 83 South. Contestants Erin Lemons and (Weington High) are named, with family ties noted.
