The IRS offers the Understand ing Taxes package for high school social studies civics and economics courses. The modular kit includes nine 15 minute video programs software for W 2 W 4 and 1040 EZ forms an overview booklet lesson plans transparencies and duplicating masters. Texas Payday Law Changes Take Effect in 1990
Texas employers face new wage collection powers and penalties under the amended Payday Law. The Texas Employment Commission will enforce the law starting January 1990, with penalties up to the unpaid wages amount. It requires monthly or bi monthly pay, posted paydays, and limited wage deductions with written employee consent.
