Wheeler County SWCD Hosts Panhandle Districts Meeting
The Wheeler County SWCD chaired the Panhandle Association of Soil and Water Conservation Districts semi annual meeting in Shamrock on February 19 2002 at the Shamrock Community Center. Attendees included Paul Macina Noel Walton and C E Williams with NRCS and Texas SWCD leaders with 62 participants from the Panhandle.

Have Computer Will Travel education workshops expand offerings
Texas Cooperative Extension hosts the Have Computer Will Travel education workshops aimed at farms and agribusiness producers with a mobile lab of 13 laptops. New this year is Beginning QuickBooks 2001 with two day sessions March 26-27 in Amarillo and April dates in Pampa Clarendon and Spearman. Registration ranges by course with fees from 50 to 75 dollars and payments made to Texas Cooperative Extension.
