Jon Eric Jenkins a ninth grader? Actually a third grade pupil at Northwest Heights Elementary Duncan Oklahoma has earned multiple honors. He won the Pee Wee spelling contest for grades K through 4 and took first in the county contest on Feb 16. He received a certificate and a $50 savings account opened by Durant Bank and Trust in his name. He participates in Oklahoma Gifted Program and has won first in State Arbor Day poster contest and was named Outstanding Student in his elementary school for high academic standards in math spelling reading and English.
