Trans-Texas Corridor hearing sparsely attended in Collingsworth
Five residents attended a February 27 public hearing on possible Trans-Texas Corridor routes. The concept envisions a 4000 mile network with car and truck lanes, high speed rail, toll funding, and corridors bypassing urban centers. Costs range from 145 to 184 billion dollars. hearings aim to gauge feasibility and routes with two preliminary corridor paths through the Texas Panhandle.
