Wellington PTO Carnival Draws Big Crowd and Funds
The Wellington PTO carnival at the Activity Center on February 28 raised 7543 dollars after expenses with about 3400 raffle tickets sold. Top ticket seller Ashley Souder won a portable DVD player while Reynaldo Villalon Sr won a 7 inch player and Gail Coleman earned 20 pounds of steaks. The third grade basket raised 330 dollars and the night featured themed class baskets totaling 1425 dollars plus a digital camera and a pizza party prize for top baskets.
