Wellington ISD board meets in regular session June 16
Wellington Independent School District Board of Education convened at 8 p.m. in the Superintendent’s Office with a quorum. They hired Tracey Bell and Deidra Kane on ten month probationary contracts for 2008 2009, raised meal prices by 50 cents, approved several property transfers, authorized technology upgrades, allowed elementary playground equipment purchases, reviewed TAKS IOWA results, noted summer renovations, and reported on ongoing Apple computer deployments and summer athletic activities.
