Adventurous Clues From Wellington County News 1945
Local notes recount Marty Warrick’s rough year with injuries from a rock and two black eyes, a mumps recovery, and a boyish tale of washing a forehead wound in a horse tank. The county faces dry spells, a milk-prompted preschool visit, a stormy ranch party, a tornadic lull, and a Masonic Lodge election. Also recalled are long flights to Mexico City with slide memories and a courthouse cover image plan, plus POW camp recollections and a former Ex-POW leader visiting Wellington figures.
