Deputy Involved in Panhandle Crash Near Wellington
Collingsworth County deputy Steve Thaten was in a two vehicle collision Saturday night when Reynolds Asencio of White Deer failed to yield while entering Highway 83 from County Road Q. The 1988 Toyota Corolla caught fire. Asencio was pulled free. Both were treated for minor injuries and released the next day.
