Souder earns accounting degree at Texas Tech commencement
Chris Souder, son of Redgie and Dian Souder, graduated summa cum laude from Texas Tech University at the May 17 2003 ceremonies in United Spirit Arena. He was named a Distinguished Graduate and a President Scholar, with plans to enter medical school in August. Attending were his parents, brother Nick, grandparents Hubert and Vonna Brooks, and Kendra Allred.

Applications are open for the 2003 Childress Old Settler's Rodeo Queen and Princess pageant scheduled July 17 to 19 in Childress Texas.
