Possible Delay In Cotton Allotment Certificates
The State Allotment Board closed the date last week for applications but slow response means the agent's office will accept applications and issue allotments with regular applications. If not signed by Friday, producers may face delays in certificates and the ginning season. All cotton producers must apply to receive certificates, even those with existing contracts. The County Agent's office will also take in all old Bankhead Certificates from 1934 this week.
