Mr. and Mrs. William Jones announce the arrival of a six and a half pound girl named Vesta Gene born Sunday morning May 23. Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Messer and children Edna and Ralph, and Mr. and Mrs. Howard Rankin of Quail visited L. G. Yarbrough family. A farmers meeting was held at the school house Friday evening with a large attendance. The June meeting was scheduled. Joe Parker of Santa Fe, New Mexico, is visiting his parents in town.
