Wellington Rodeo Named Rodeo of the Year by TCRA
The Wellington Rodeo Association won Rodeo of the Year for 2005 at the Texas Cowboy's Rodeo Association event. About 500 contestants competed over three days and roughly 600 spectators attended each night. The association, formed in 1983, draws competitors from Texas Panhandle Southern Colorado Kansas and West Oklahoma. The 2006 4th of July Rodeo is slated for June 29 30 and July 1 at the Wellington Fair Grounds.
