Prayer ideals questioned in pastor column at First Baptist Wellington
The Wellington Leader prints a pulpit column by James R. McLeod of First Baptist Wellington arguing prayer need not follow fixed formulas. He cites ACTS, Romans 8 26, Psalms, Job, and 2 Thessalonians 3 1 5 to emphasize heart level communication with God over scripted detail. He also notes community notices about pageants and a book fair at Collingsworth Public Library with volunteer needs.
