The Needwood school, led by Ros G. L. Jones and Mrs. Mittie Lowery, hosts visits from several families including the Blandfords and Willards. Residents report a pleasant Valentine box event, garden prep underway, and a Roundup basketball game where Needwood lost 17-8.
Mildred Clement reports a Friday night PLT meeting on February 20 with guest visits and a varied program. Attendees included Mrs. Wolf Thomas, Mrs. A W Nuil, and Julia Duncan as program committee. Charles Starkey left for Mangum, causing absence. Readings by Katherine Scote and WL ture gan Jr plus plays such as Entertaining Sister's Beau and Oh Minister's Mistake highlighted the evening. The next program is set for March 14.

Buck Creek junior boys beat King Girly at home while Buck Creek won three games at Cross Roads Friday. Buster Stafford stayed with Clifton Stafford. Several locals on sick list, King school program drew Buck Creek folks, party hosted by Mr. Vincent enjoyable. Preaching next Sunday at Buck Creek. all invited.
