City school tennis courts open with ribbon cutting
A 10 am Monday Feb 22 ribbon cutting at Ellison Park opened four new tennis courts in a joint project of the City of Wellington and Wellington Independent School District. The $75,000 facility features Colorkold and Laykold surfaces, enhanced lighting, and tree-lined grounds with maintenance plans for year-round use.

Collingsworth General Hospital Auxiliary partners with the Wichita County Chapter of the American Red Cross to offer non fasting cholesterol and glucose tests in the Heritage Room of Wellington State Bank from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday February 25. Tests include total cholesterol HDL LDL and triglycerides with HDL and LDL described as good and bad cholesterol for heart disease risk.
