Wheat Production to Double by 2000, Conference Predictions
Dr. Ronnie Thomason spoke at the First Interregional Wheat Workers Conference in Stillwater February 9 1 attended by about 200 researchers from 31 states Mexico Canada and the USDA. Dr. Lewis P. Reitz predicted wheat production will double by 2000 and other forecasts include prescription only essential chemicals and more varieties from commercial companies.

Sgt. Robert Blevins grandson of Mr and Mrs Carol Blevins of Quail completed his regular Vietnam tour and returned February 2 for an eight month extension.
