Trapping Wild Turkeys In Collings Aims For Colorado Stocking
Texas Parks and Wildlife biologists trapped about a hundred wild turkeys in Collings to reduce depredation on landowners. Colorado Parks and Game Department members collected the birds by air in Canyon for relocation. The operation used new 70 foot square nets baited with milo, with birds transported in 18 by 18 by 30 inch cardboard boxes.
