Wellington man indicted in drug importation case
FBI reports arrest of Jack Douglas Jameson of Wellington among five named in a sealed U S District Court indictment in Waco for conspiring to import and distribute over 1,000 kilograms of marijuana. He appeared in Amarillo and posted a 50000 bond, with an appearance set in Waco. Jameson farms in Collingsworth County and runs an aerial spraying service.

Lindley's Department Store Announces Grand Opening

Ambulance Service to raise rates March first
The Collingsworth Volunteer Ambulance Service will raise rates effective March 1. Basic Life Support runs will be 150 dollars plus two dollars per mile outside city limits. Advanced Life Support keeps the same mileage rate with a 150 dollar base. The agency notes higher costs from a busier year and aims to add a new unit and complete training for two paramedics in two weeks.
