Mrs Roy Horn 78 died suddenly at home 1710 15th Street Tuesday February 17. Funeral 2:00 p.m. Thursday February 19 at First United Methodist Church with Rev James Boswell. Burial in Fairview Cemetery under Kelso Funeral Home. Survivors include her husband Roy M Horn Jr of Panorama City.

Wellington to Hold Election on Additional One Cent Sales Tax
Wellington voters will decide on Saturday April 3 whether to levy an extra one cent sales tax for capital improvements. The election coincides with council elections and separate ballots will name the four-term council. The tax would support a new garbage truck street sweeper and a future fire truck, with funding from property taxes water rates or the sales tax.
