Police report shows three injuries from January crashes in Collingsworth County. Sgt. J W Wilson notes three fatal accidents in the month leading to $1630 in property damage. Other counties list Childress five accidents four deaths eight injuries and 17010 dollars. Gray 71 accidents one death six injuries and 1959 property. Vinson School District Voted To Annex To Hollis Area
Vinson patrons voted 73 to 8 to annex their district to Hollis Reed Euck and Mangum disposing of the entire Vinson district. The action shortens state division steps and leaves Hollis adjacent to Vinson. The Vinson district covered about 163 square miles. Gooney birds are believed to be the most fearless animal on earth.
