City-County seeks HUD funding for Wellington projects
The Community Development Committee approved a pre application for 98 000 in HUD Community Development Block Grant funds sought by the City of Wellington and Collingsworth County The funds would fund a street paving project and housing rehabilitation in the northern part of town Mayor Bill Hatch County Judge Zook Thomas and City Manager Glen Taylor presented before the committee January 28 The session approved the pre application among about 25 grant requests exceeding 4 million dollars.
