Mrs. Pearl Aaron 81 died in Collingsworth General Hospital Tuesday February 1. Funeral services set for 2:00 p.m. Thursday February 3 at First United Methodist Church with Rev. James Boswell, burial in Fairview Cemetery. Kelso Funeral Home in charge. Born Wise County July 13 1895 she moved to Collingsworth County in 1906. Survived by six grandchildren. Quail Mercantile Founder Tom Crabtree Dies at 90
Tom C. Crabtree of Quail died January 27 at Lackey Manor Nursing Home Oklahoma City at age 90. He and wife Mrs. Crabtree operated Quail Mercantile for 57 years and he stayed active until shortly before his death. Funeral held February 2 at Quail School gymnasium, built by him 40 years ago, with L A Davis officiating. Interment followed in Rose Hill Cemetery in Oklahoma City.

Pesticide Certification Meeting Set Here February 16
County wide open meeting for private pesticide applicator certification will be held February 16 at 7 30 p m in Burn Handley Community Center. Dr Carl Patrick from Amarillo will speak on new federal state requirements to take effect by October 17 1977. Certification is mandatory under federal law with no charge for private farmers and ranchers.

Ray Wheeler officiating burial Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Surviving are her husband two sons Lee G Ford and Warner B Ford a daughter Mrs Cotton Vandiver and other relatives.
